Laboratory of Alice Lam, MD PhD
The Lam Lab is based in the Department of Neurology at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Harvard Medical School (HMS). Alice Lam, MD PhD, is the principal investigator and a clinical neurologist and neuroscientist.
Our clinical and translational research program explores the interface between epilepsy, the neurodegenerative diseases, and cognition.
We use a multimodal approach that leverages sophisticated techniques in clinical neurophysiology, machine learning, neuro-imaging, and neuropsychological testing.
Our research is informed by clinical experience and inspired by our patients.
We aim to improve the lives of people living with epilepsy, neurodegenerative diseases, or both.
